Scarecrow Decorating Fun at Mayo!

Our residents and staff are getting creative this fall! Together, we’ll make cheerful scarecrows to decorate the fence posts around our community.

Once our scarecrows are in place, we’ll hold a friendly contest to see which one is voted Best Scarecrow. We can’t wait to see the fun ideas everyone comes up with and share our festive display with the community!

Celebrate Oktoberfest with Us!

Join us for a festive Oktoberfest celebration! We’ll enjoy pretzels, sample a variety of beers, and celebrate Bavarian traditions together.

Oktoberfest began in Munich, Germany, and has grown into a celebration known for its music, food, and community spirit. We’re looking forward to sharing the fun—and raising a pretzel to a wonderful afternoon!

Wear Pink for Breast Cancer Awareness

Join us for our annual Pink Party! Wear pink as we come together to raise awareness, show support for those affected by breast cancer, and remind one another how important it is to stay informed about breast health.

Regular screenings and breast exams can help detect changes early. Talk with your healthcare provider about the screenings and schedule that are right for you. We hope you’ll join us in wearing pink and sharing this important message!

Pumkin Smashing - Picket Night

Pumpkin Smashing Afternoon is a lively fall activity where residents get to smash pumpkins outdoors and enjoy a little playful mischief. Some residents have never tried it before, so it’s especially fun to see their excitement when they give it a go. The laughter and stories continue long after the pumpkins are gone!

Join us for a sweet afternoon of Halloween fun! We’ll decorate sugar cookies shaped like ghosts and pumpkins, then put together goodie bags for the trick-or-treaters visiting Mayo. We’re looking forward to sharing some festive treats!

Annual 44 Door Knock Trick-Or-Treat

Join us at Mayo Residential Care for our annual 44-Door Knock Trick-or-Treat! The community is invited to trick-or-treat with us from 6:00 to 7:00 PM on Halloween night.

We’re happy to offer a warm, safe, and handicap-accessible place for local families to enjoy Halloween. To help make the event possible, we’re accepting candy donations.
