5-Star Ratings & National Awards for Top Quality
Our high standards are consistently recognized. Mayo has a 5-star overall rating from U.S. News, Medicare.com and UCompare HealthCare. We have received ten Quality Awards from the Vermont Agency of Human Services, honoring nursing homes that meet the highest standard of care.
In 2013, the National Research Corporation gave Mayo its “Excellence in Action” Award, for achieving the highest rating of resident satisfaction. Mayo also received the Bronze Quality Award from the American Health Care Association in 2012. The Vermont Healthcare Association has honored 52 of our employees for exceptional service.
Our Staff Is Our Most Important Asset
We believe in teamwork and maintaining consistent staffing. Everyone at Mayo, from the administrator to the housekeeping staff, pulls together to meet the needs of our residents. They are our first concern and top priority.
We are very proud that many of our employees have been with us for more than 20 years. A stable, consistent staff is important to us because it means residents and patients can develop meaningful relationships with their caregivers. We base all our care on knowing each resident as an individual, with a life that matters. Meet our staff.
